We hate allergies.
Chris and I both grew up with seasonal allergies. Which means our kids have a 75% chance of having allergies.
But we don't need a medical statistic to tell us that Jack has allergies.
So we finally said enough is enough- and we took Jack to see my allergist.
Jack was such a good little boy during the 2 hour appointment. He was very patient with the doctor. And when it came time for the allergy scratch test on his back- he was such a trooper.
When the results came in- our doctor was a little surprised. Jack is already allergic to a lot more than he should be for his age.
So, we've got a game plan now, and so far, so good.
I should also brag that Jack is really good at taking his medicine every morning and night.
This is a photo of Jack's back. There are 2 columns on his back- each with a samples of pollens and plants, etc. They made a little prick on each sample. His skin reacted to the samples he was allergic to.
