Merry Christmas, 2009

Chris, Jack and I had a wonderful Christmas. We were also very pleased that Baby Lucy decided to wait 'til after the Holidays to arrive.
Our Holiday Weekend began at "Papa" and "Mama" Petroff's house on Christmas Eve.
One of Chris's favorite Christmas traditions is lighting the Luminaries with his Dad in front of the house.

And this year- Jack got to help out!
(well, he mostly watched. There's no reason a 20 month old needs to help with anything involving fire)!
After a beautiful meal with family... it was time for presents!
And do we mean presents. As always- Jack's Grandma & Grandpa spoiled him rotten.
Jack needs no assistance when it comes to opening gifts.
Jack playing with one of his favorite gifts of the night... his Golf Clubs
Jack and Daddy checking out a new book.
Not really sure what Jack is doing here.... it was getting late and we were slowly losing him.

((Unfortunately, I forgot my camera at Grandma & Grandpa's house on Christmas Eve... leaving me with no camera for Christmas Morning. I will tell you there are no words to describe how much Jack loved walking down the stairs and over to the Christmas Tree to see that Santa left him a basketball hoop and a bike))
Later that morning, we headed over to "Papa" and "Lou Lou" Dinoffria's house.
Both Wes and Jack brought along their outdoor toys to ride outside in the front yard.

If pictures could talk- you would hear Wes explaining to Jack that he's too little to ride a scooter.
Jack didn't mind. Although, he became obsessed with Wes's helmet and eventually got to take it for a test run later in the afternoon.
This is my attempt of trying to get Jack to look at me for a photo opp.
Little stinker purposely did not turn around.
That's all the photos I have of Christmas.
We spent the rest of the evening at my Aunt and Uncle's house- celebrating Christmas with the Mead Family. Jack ran around all night. At one point- Chris and I realized Jack could reach the dessert table all by himself. He had himself a grand old time eating all the treats he could get his hands on.
Thanks to everyone who celebrated Christmas with us. And a very special thank you to both sets of grandparents- who as always- spoiled Jack with lots and lots of fun toys. He's a very lucky boy.
